Cops’ drug blitz at Royal Ascot

Cops have launched a massive anti-drug crackdown at Royal Ascot to stop racegoers getting high in front of The Queen.

Officers with sniffer dogs have been patrolling the grounds to ensure punters don't indulge in illegal substances at the Berkshire course.

And racecourse bosses have even installed a drugs HONESTY box for the first time - giving race-goers the chance to give up their narcotics before they enter the turnstiles.

The drugs blitz saw two arrests for suspected cocaine possession on day one of the five-day Royal meeting - a favourite with high society and big-name celebrities.
