'Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead' closer to number one spot following Margaret Thatcher's death
Lady Thatcher’s death could propel The Wizard Of Oz track "Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead” to the top of the charts. Those who saw her death as a cause for celebration have prompted a download surge for the track. Within 48 hours of the former Prime Minister’s death, the song has entered the official UK chart at number 10. It is expected to climb higher as a result of a Facebook campaign being set up to encourage sales.
The Facebook group, encouraging people to download the "Witch" song to get it to number one, already had 664 members and was originally set up back in July 2007. The BBC said it would decide whether to play Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead during Radio 1's top 40 countdown when places are finalised this weekend. In a statement it said: "The Official Chart Show on Sunday is a historical and factual account of what the British public has been buying and we will make a decision about playing it when the final chart positions are clear."

Jimmy Savile, paedophilia and necrophilia
Recent reports about the sexual preferences of Jimmy Savile have not only thrown up allegations of paedophilia but have also hinted that he engaged in other sexual paraphilias such as necrophilia (having sex with corpses).
Paraphilias (from the Greek and translating as “beyond usual or typical love”) are uncommon types of sexual expression and often more commonly described as sexual deviations, sexual perversions or disorders of sexual preference. Many of these behaviours may appear bizarre and/or socially unacceptable, and represent the extreme end of the sexual continuum.
A couple of news reports on Savile allege that he made unaccompanied visits to mortuaries (such as the one at Stoke Mandeville) and that he spoke publicly to the media about his “fascination” with dead bodies.

And the BBC said in a statement that it doesn't think he is, either: "We've carried out detailed investigations and can't find any evidence to suggest that the interview with Alessio Rastani was a hoax. He is an independent market trader and one of a range of voices we've had on air to talk about the recession."

BBC Journalist Killed By U.S. Forces In Afghanistan
NATO has admitted that a U.S. soldier shot a BBC journalist to death in July. The Guardian was the first to report the news that Ahmed Omed Khpulwak was killed by an American. Khpulwak was one of at least 19 people to die during a fight that erupted between the Taliban and American forces after the Taliban attacked an Afghan television station.
NATO said that the death was accidental, and military officials met with his family on Thursday to apologize for the "mistake." Khpulwak had worked as a stringer for the BBC since 2008. He also worked for an Afghan news service.
The official report (pdf) from the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force said that Khpulwak, 25, had died because of "mistaken identity." He was hiding from the fight when, according to ISAF, a soldier mistook him for a surviving Taliban fighter and took his movements as a sign that he was a suicide bomber.
Khpulwak's brother, Jawid, spoke to the Guardian after NATO's admission. "They thought he was a suicide bomber, but how?" he said. "He spoke English and would have been showing his press card." The BBC reported that Khpulwak sent Jawid two text messages during the attack. The first read: "I am hiding. Death has come." The second read: "pray for me if I die."

Fury at BBC for offering jobs as prizes to unemployed in 'cruel' gameshow
BBC bosses were condemned today for a gameshow-style reality series which offers jobs as prizes to the unemployed. The programme, Up For Hire, plans to quiz out-of-work youngsters before telling them if they have got a job live on air.
BBC3 is scheduled to give the series - branded 'inappropriate and cruel' - a prime time evening spot. The series, which was commissioned earlier this year, will film school, college and university leavers on four-week work placements at top British companies. The youngsters will start with menial tasks like making tea before graduating to executive decisions. Bosses will then question them ahead of making their 'You've hired' decision.

The BBC’s disgraceful censorship
So, what’s next for the Big Brainwashing Challenge for Black and Brown Children? You’ve guessed it kids; it’s your favourite hip-hop and R ‘n’ B radio DJ, Tim Westwood, broadcasting LIVE from a British military camp in Afghanistan!
The day after I wrote an article on the BBC’s disgraceful censorship of a Bigz freestyle on Charlie Sloth’s 1Xtra show, in which the words ‘Gaza Strip’ had been edited out, the freestyle was re-uploaded in its full, uncensored form. For a second, I thought the BBC might be wanting to divert attention from their blatant, consistent use of bias throughout their reporting but, alas, I thought wrong. The British Broadcasting Corporation have, once again, proved their value as an instrument of imperialist propaganda.
Since the words ‘Free Palestine’ were censored from a Mic Righteous freestyle, also on 1Xtra radio, the excuses have been repeated over and over again; preserving ‘impartiality’, and the need to present both sides of the story. The Tim Westwood coverage, from Camp Bastion, where British soldiers occupying Afghanistan are stationed, blows each one of these fake explanations out of the water. There is nothing ‘impartial’ about a broadcast from a military base. Where are the voices of the Afghan resistance, who are fighting to get a foreign occupier out of their country? Where is the Afghan ‘side of the story’?

UK government orders protest footage censored
The internet video sharing website YouTube has censored the footage of protests outside Birkenhead county court based on a request by the British government.
Some 600 activists from the British Constitution Group staged protests against a ruling on former member of UKIP Roger Hayes who has refused to pay council tax outside Birkenhead county court. Hayes had challenged the local council to protest the government's moves which he sees as sacrificing Britain to globalist interests.
Censorship of the YouTube footage related to the incident shows the government's fears of wide circulation of such information that could lead to national unrest similar to the 1990 troubles.

The BBC's new censors: The BBC has released a statement proclaiming that late night music shows were not the place for political controversy - young people might be listening. It came after the deliberate censorship of rapper "Mic Righteous" who had dared to utter the words "Free Palestine" in his set. The Palestine Solidarity Campaign called the edit an "extraordinary act of censorship", asking why the BBC did not ban the song "Free Nelson Mandela", back in 1984. On the artist's Facebook page, there is talk of how just the phrase "Gaza Strip" was censored by the BBC. (Press TV)
