Dutch Foreign affairs minister Uri Rosenthal has accused aid organisation ICCO of undermining government policy by giving financial support to the website Electronic Intifada, NOS television reports on Friday.
The website calls for a boycott of Israel and this contravenes government policy, Rosenthal says. He has told ICCO that if it does not stop supporting the site, there could be implications for the organisation's funding, NOS says.
ICCO has refused to comply with the minister's request, arguing that Israel is breaking international law and refusing to comply with UN resolutions.
