SEAL team 6 families believe helicopter shootdown in Afghanistan was government planned

The August 6, 2011 Chinook shootdown in eastern Afghanistan is considered the worst loss of U.S. military life in the war-torn country since the Operation Red Wings in 2005. The crash killed all 38 people on board– twenty-five Navy SEALs, five U.S. Army National Guard and Army Reserve crewmen, seven Afghan commandos, one Afghan interpreter, and a U.S. military dog. For the families of the fallen special operations personnel, all they want is for Congress to investigate the tragic incident; but why is it so hard to make that happen?

On Thursday, three families of the Navy SEALs killed in the attack took their case to the public via a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. The families felt their sons were purposely targeted by the Taliban after the Obama administration confirmed that it was the Navy SEALs Team 6 who killed Osama bin Laden three months earlier. WND reported that the families also questioned the sudden replacement of seven Afghan commandos on board the helicopter just before take-off. As it turned out, the seven Afghan commandos killed in the helicopter shootdown were not the seven listed in the flight manifest. To this day, none of them know who those dead Afghans were.

Sailors Make History After Sharing US Navy's Traditional First Kiss

Two female sailors have made history after becoming the first same-sex couple to publicly share the US Navy's traditional first kiss. Petty Officer 2nd Class Marissa Gaeta, 23, stepped off the USS Oak Hill in Virginia and planted a kiss on the lips of her girlfriend, Citlalic Snell, also a naval officer.

The passionate embrace comes after the US military's "don't ask, don't tell" rule, which prevented gay personnel from being open about their sexuality, was repealed earlier this year. Petty Officer Gaeta, who was just home from 80 days at sea, was selected as the crew member to make the traditional "first kiss" ashore after buying $50 worth of $1 tickets in a raffle. Petty Officer Snell, of Placerville, California, told the newspaper the kiss would "open a lot of doors not just for our relationship, but for all the other gay and lesbian relationships that are in the military".

“Bin Laden” Heroes Probably Murdered to Keep Them Quiet

August 6th, 2011 31 NATO troops, 20 of them Navy Seals from the Osama bin Laden operation died in what is reported as a helicopter crash in Afghanistan. 

The chances of this story being true is almost nil.  The chances of this being a staged coverup is over 80%.  We believe these people were murdered to silence them.  This is why.

We have solid information on two areas:

1. Osama bin Laden died in 2001 as an active CIA employee and his body was recovered in Afghanistan and taken to “the sand box.”  We were told it was frozen.  We have so much verification from this, CIA, ISI, US military and top officials.  I have a direct confirmation from Bin Laden’s CIA handler who I grilled mercilessly on this.
2. The Abbottabad operation involved numerous American deaths, witnessed, bodies all over, a helicopter crash. (suppressed translated TV interview below)  These bodies were recovered by land vehicle from Islamabad and there was NO “successful” bin Laden operation of any kind.  There was and has been a CIA safe house in Abbotabad where terror suspects were stored for years.

This gave the US several areas of severe vulnerability.  Generally, Navy Seals are the best people in the world at keeping their mouths shut, these are real team players, as the term “Seal Team” belies.

We at VT were informed that the bin Laden operation was staged at this time, a theatrical farce, to cover the exit of Secretary Gates, the move by former CIA Director Leon Panetta into the DOD as Secretary of Defense and to stem any heroic claims by new CIA Director Petraeus of killing the long dead Osama bin Laden, the long frozen CIA operative.

Petraeus is a possible presidential contender and had to be denied this “gift from heaven,” a fast track to the oval office for sure.

UK Navy medic detained for refusing training over WikiLeaks claims

A British Royal Navy medic has been sentenced to seven months' detention for refusing rifle training prior to deployment in Afghanistan after developing moral objections, following revelations made by WikiLeaks.

Michael Lyons, 25, was found guilty of wilful disobedience of a lawful order at a military hearing on Tuesday. He had served since 2005 as a medical assistant submariner. He was demoted and dismissed from the navy. The court martial, at Portsmouth naval base, heard that on 20 September 2010, Lyons refused pre-deployment assault rifle training, repeatedly requesting to be assigned to a non-combat role.

Speaking in court, Lyons confirmed he had no physical or mental impairment preventing him following orders, but had chosen to disobey orders based on his personal convictions. "My initial objections started with Afghanistan and I wanted to investigate the reasons why we were at war. At the time WikiLeaks came along and mentioned Iraq and Afghanistan. The reports said there had been some civilian casualties that nobody knew about and they were being covered up," he said. "After a lot of deliberation I decided I was a conscientious objector."
